So sad. The World War II vet who inspired millions to work hard for their dreams, died in Dallas on Nov. 28 after falling sick with pneumonia.
Zig Ziglar, motivational speaker and author, died Nov. 28 in Dallas after a “short bout” of pneumonia, his spokesperson said. The self-proclaimed “Undisputed King of Motivation” had a loyal following, and was known for his huge seminars that packed arenas.
His message of positive attitude and success was spread though short quotes, including, “failure is a detour, not a dead-end street” and “success is the maximum utilization of the ability that you have.”
He wrote more than two dozen books on salesmanship and motivation over five decades.
Zig’s quotes now live on and are spread through social media.
