A little girl in Wisconsin learned she had a brain tumor and all she wanted to do was meet the one and only Selena! Read on to find out how Selena gave her the shock of a lifetime.
Selena Gomez is in the business of making dreams come true. The 20-year-old starlet was approached to meet Frehley Gilmore, an adorable 10-year-old, who was diagnosed with stage 3-4 cancer, and she jumped at the opportunity to meet this fan.
The Make-A-Wish foundation asked Selena if she would travel to NYC to help make the surprise a reality. Selena headed over to the famous ice cream shop Serendipity, a fave of Selena’s, and walked into the restaurant where Frehley unknowingly sat talking to GMA host Josh Elliott.
“You know, me and my mom make a tradition every time we come to New York, which is a lot for my job, we always used to come here together, so it was my mom and daughter place,” Selena said of the meet-and-greet. “It’s probably one of my favorite things that I do for my job. It makes me happy to come out and do this. I feel like I’m not doing enough.”
Frehley had brain surgery and had the tumor removed. She is currently cancer-free.

I love love this, but I think it would be nicer to do it in privacy, so it doesn’t feel like a PR thing for a celebrity. It was a special moment for the littel girl, I’m sure Selena will do more wondrous, generous stuff, please keep it out of the public eye. We see plenty of her as it is.
