Kristen Stewart: Will She Be Up For A Golden Globe?

Kristen was invited to attend an event related to awards season — could this mean that she’s in the running for a nomination at this year’s Golden Globes ceremony?

Kristen Stewart‘s movies don’t often earn any acting nominations at many major award shows, no matter how unfair that may be! But could her performance as Marylou in On the Road be changing all that for the actress?

Kristen was invited and confirmed to attend The Variety Studio: Awards Edition event presented by Rolls-Royce and Variety magazine at the Rolls-Royce Villa in Beverly Hills, taking place on Wednesday, Nov. 28 and Thursday, Nov. 29. The two-day event is billed as an opportunity for “awards-contending” actors and actresses to mingle and participate in interviews.

With Kristen’s inclusion in this illustrious event, it seems clear to us that Hollywood loved her performance in On the Road as much as we did!

Hi you guys…why u always negative thinking to her. I’m not a fan of KStew, but don’t ever look someone by his/her cover, because we don’t know her closely. Just being objective to someone. Nobody’s perfect.

@Laura if she didn’t have talent, she wouldn’t be getting movies after movies and earning praises…yeah a lot has happened with her recently but you can’t judge her just because of it. no one’s perfect. life’s doing mistakes and learning from them..golden globes are one of the most prestigious awards and they’ve always been honouring big talents…what you’ve said here is basically pointless and hateful.

Kristen’s a box office drawl for $$$ not for TALENT and she’s playing off Twilight and investors know you obsessed fans will support her no matter what. We’re not haters, just stating the facts. And by the way, the “OSCARS” is the highest award any actor can strive for.

to Laura, Yes Kristen deserves to be nominated if her work is good just like any other actress.
The actresses you list above have had their share of flops along with good movies. Kristen deserves the same respect, according to people that have seen OTR they say she is fantastic!!
Kristen has been snubbed many times” way before ” she should have been nominated for Speak, The Cake Eaters, The Yellow Handkerchief, just to name a few!!!

If she deserves it why shouldn’t she get a Golden Globe Nomination. Why do you people have to abuse he all the time. You all obviously have no brains and are as dumb as they come. What are you all jealous of what she has done because you haven’t got the talent she has, and you can’t earn the money she does. She works in all sorts of different weather climates and you all probably work in offices. So get out of your comfort zone people and learn to work in the hazards of the different weather. LEAVE THE GIRL ALONE. BD2 is over and she is back with Rob and this was his decision and not yours. so let it go.

What about Rob he deseves one more than her. She is getting all the damn breaks and she was the ine that did wrong not Rob. I’m sick of this crap. The Golden Globe awards are not until Jan. 2013. How can she be nominated for OTR it hasn’t even been shown in the US yet? The article says for an event related to the Golden Globes.

OTR has it’s NYC premier on December 13, the same night when they will announce the nominees.

to ToriBorn, yes I know the OTR premiere is Dec. 13 in NYC, my question is why is OTR not being advertised on TV? Other movies that are coming out around the same time are plastered all over the TV, Universal better wake up, this could be a big hit for Kristen and cast. Most people that have seen it said it’s great and Kristen is super, time will tell. I hope Kristen is nominated, she has been snubbed for so many years, for older work of hers. Have a good day.

I really hope she gets a Golden Globe but I wonder if it is because she presented the Life Time Achievement Award to Jody Foster. I have heard that the critics that saw her performance in Cannes have said it was Oscar worthy. So I hope she does get the credit for her acting ability. After all the slander and attacks she has endured she deserves to have something happy happen for her. Good Luck Kristen!

She is so over due for a Golden Globe and also an Oscar!! She should have gotten an Oscar for her performance in The Cake Eaters! She was snubbed just like Leo DiCaprio, he should have gotten an Oscar for his performance in What’s Eating Gilbert Grape!! Both really fantastic movies, and both Kristen and Leo, did outstanding jobs, but were snubbed, not fair.
