“your more fertile in the first 6 months to year after a birth” Who exactly educates the youth of America? As an OB/GYN I can tell you that is absolutely FALSE, In fact when a woman is lactating she is very unlikely to become pregnant. Even if she doesn’t breat feed the body takes a couple of cycles (2mos or so) to get back to normal ovulation, but its just that, NORMAL no more often or “fertile” …geesh!

dimwits your more fertile in the first 6 months to year after a birth and Jessica has said she wants 5 kids. she gained 70lbs with Maxwell which with the issues she had whick over eating was the least of them is normal. my mom gained 65lbs when she was pregnant with me due to constant hospitalizations for dehydration due to morning sickness through the whole pregnancy and I weighed 7lbs 11oz born 12 days late while Maxwell weighed 9lbs 13oz born 2 weeks early. you don’t have to be married to be stable parents congrats to Jessica & Eric

Really? Do you consider children born out of wedlock stable?

well my child is stable, i have been with my partner since i was 18 and im now 29, my son is now 3 and is growing nicely, most marriges do not last 11 years, so get wit the 21st century. marriges are expensive and not for everyone, and i am extreamly happy and madly in love with my boyfriend. dispite a wedding band.

So a child born out of wedlock is unstable? That is the dumbest thing I have ever heard! A signed piece of paper doesnt make or break the way two people rasie a child. As long as the parents have a healthy relationship with each other… thats really what matters. Two people could be married, have a kid, and then realize that they arent compatible and fight all the time while sleeping in separate bedrooms. They stay together “for the kid”. Does that make a stable environment for a child? NO! Your point is completely ignorant. And I am someone who is adamant about being married before I have children. But if I were to get pregnant before that, our child would have parents who love each other dearly and would do anything to make their kid happy.

I can answer that. People are lazy, and rather take the easy way. Why get married and have to work at a relationship when you can just shack up and toss them out when you get sick of them. Hell, people are doing it with their kids too.
As for weddings being expensive, that is a load of crap. Big fancy weddings are expensive. The justice of the peace costs about $30. As for being perfectly happy shacking up with someone. That works great when you’re young, but it gets old. You know, when everyone you know is getting married and moving forward with their lives and you are still shacking up. If your man loves you he will marry you. Don’t kid yourself. There is some truth to the movie, He’s Not That Into You. Continue to hold yourself at a lower standard and that is exactly what you will continue to get.

What horrible and judgmental things to say. You and Jodi make it seem like people who get married stay married forever. Based on your ignorance youre going to tell me that people who are married but dont get along provide a more stable environment than people who have a loving relationship but dont get married? Marriage is just a label. Its a ring and a signed piece of paper. It doesnt equate to the way someone feels about another. Your man could love you and ask you to marry him and you say yes, have two kids, live together married while raising your family for 15 years and then find out he was having an affair for the last three. Ive seen it happen mulitple times. And you’re telling me that is better than two people “shacking up”, unmarried, raising two children who love and care about each other? So closed minded… Im going to laugh when one of your two children get knocked up or knock up some girl and dont get married.
