It looks like there is trouble in paradise for Jef Holm and Arie Luyendyk Jr., as the bromantic pair are at war over Emily Maynard – and it’s not like when they were fighting for her heart on The Bachelorette! On Nov. 25, Arie tweeted Emily to say “You’re not the person everyone thinks you are,” but he quickly deleted the message. It seems that Arie was standing up for his bro Jef, but now in a shocking twist of events, Jef is hitting back at Arie!
Jef and Arie are the best of friends, even though they were once love rivals for Emily’s heart. Fans even teased Jef over his love for Arie, but it looks like their bromance has come to a dramatic halt. It seems that Arie dissed Emily because he did not like the way she ignored Jef when he was pining for a reunion. But instead of being grateful, Jef seems to be furious at Arie!
On Nov. 28, Jef tweeted “Class is knowing what to say, when to say it, & when to stop.” This is a clear reference to Arie’s mean tweet to Emily, as Jef echo’s what Emily’s fans said when they also hit out at Arie. But why is Jef so mad at Arie?
Jef and Arie are joined at the hip, and the weekend before Thanksgiving they hung out in Arie’s home town of Scottsdale, AZ, with Arie’s girlfriend Courtney Robertson and Jef’s new flame Katianna Bear. It would be so sad if the boys were no longer friends!
Their love for each other is clear, as Arie tweeted Jef on Nov. 5 to say “I can’t quit you bhahahahahahahahhaha”, which is a reference to the film Brokeback Mountain. Jef, put poor Arie out of his misery and forgive him — you guys are made for each other!

Just saw Jeff and Arie hanging out in Scottsdale, doing a little shopping at Scottsdale Fashion Square, and having frozen yogurt at Yogurtology. Looks like Jeff DID forgive Arie. In fact just as we were leaving they were flirting with a couple of girls they had just waved over to their table. So no worries.
