Poor girl! A newborn baby has reportedly been named Hashtag Jameson in honor of the Twitter feature. Do YOU think that’s a bad name?
Welcome to the world, Hashtag Jameson! The baby girl was named after the popular Twitter term — and oddly enough, her proud mom shared the good news on Facebook.
“Hashtag Jameson was born at 10 oclock last nite. She weys [sic] 8pounds and I luv her so much!!!!!” her mom wrote with the photo.
Due to the unconventional name, the pic has gone viral.
Although it hasn’t been determined if the name is real or a joke — a friend did comment “Aww babes you finnally [sic] had youre [sic] Tweetybird” — but it wouldn’t be the first time a parent chose a name based on social media.
In 2011, an Egyptian man named his son Facebook after the social site helped the country’s revolution.
What do YOU think of the name Hashtag HollyMoms?
