Ezra’s little brother is back in town, and this time, Lucy says he’ll be closer to Aria than ever!
When Pretty Little Liars returns Jan. 8, Aria (Lucy Hale) will be up to her “A” in Ezra (Ian Harding) drama, and she turns to an unlikely source for support: Ezra’s little brother Wesley (Gregg Sulkin)! “He and I have a few episodes together,” Lucy told HollywoodLife.com at the kick-off for Duracell’s Power Holiday Smiles event in NYC. “Love me some Gregg Sulkin, he’s great. And he’s there for Aria in a way that Ezra definitely can’t be there for her.”
Well, that doesn’t sound like great news for “Team Ezria.” In fact, neither does this:
“Ezra’s past is coming back to haunt him,” Lucy explained. “He seemingly has a kid, so for the remainder of the season, Aria and Ezra will be dealing with that. Aria’s only 17, and to have to deal with that is a lot. They’re once again on a roller coaster ride, and I think the “Ezria” fans are going to be in for it this season — whether that’s positive or negative, I can’t say.”
One thing she can say, however, is that she loves working with Larisa Oleynik, who plays Ezra’s baby mama Maggie.
“Me and Ian freaked out,” Lucy said when she first found out The Secret World of Alex Mac star was joining the show. ”I grew up watching that show. She’s so sweet, and she looks the exact same!”
As for whether or not Maggie and Ezra’s baby will be able to liquify itself a la Alex Mac, Lucy told us she’ll “make some calls” and find out.
