In a new interview, K-Stew’s mom reveals that her favorite movie starring her daughter is NOT ‘Twilight’! Click to see her shocking words.
Before Kristen Stewart landed the coveted role of Bella Swan in The Twilight Saga, she was an unknown starring in small indie films. In a new interview, Kristen’s mother Jules Stewart revealed her favorite of Kristen’s films, and it’s not what you would expect!
Jules’ favorite movie starring her 22-year-old daughter is The Cake Eaters! Right before Kristen gained worldwide fame with Twilight, she starred in this 2007 independent film, where she played a small town girl who was suffering from a terminal illness.
Jules said, “One of my favorite films for Kristen Stewart is The Cake Eaters. It was Mary Stewart Masterson‘s directorial debut. Kristen plays a young girl who has Friedreich’s Ataxia, which is a horrible disease that attacks the nervous system. I think she was not only beautiful, but heartbreaking in that film.”
So sweet! Jules is currently promoting her new film K-11, which Kristen has a small part in and has opened to rave reviews. It is so nice that both mother and daughter can have similar success and be supportive of each other!
