The voice of Elmo is facing yet another alleged victim who claims he had a sexual relationship with the puppeteer when he was just a teenager — read on for the shocking details.
Kevin Clash, best known as the voice of Elmo, is being accused of sexual abuse again — his third accuser in two weeks.
The latest alleged victim, who is now 29 and goes by “Joe Doe,” claims he and Kevin started a relationship when he was just 16 years old. He said they met when he was visiting the city in 2000 while he was still a high school student and was in town for a modeling gig.
He alleged they would frequently meet at the puppeteer’s New York City apartment and engage in “sexual activity.”
The accuser plans to file a lawsuit on Nov. 27. A spokesperson for Kevin said, “Mr. Clash believes this lawsuit has no merit.”
The longtime Sesame Street talent resigned from his position on Nov. 20 after a second accuser came forward and alleged he and Kevin had sex in the early 1990s when he was just 15 and Kevin was 32.
