Arie stands up for his best friend Jef by dissing Emily in a tweet, which he quickly deleted. Why is Arie hating on Emily?
Arie Luyendyk Jr. must still be bitter from his failed romance with Emily Maynard on The Bachelorette, as he has taken to Twitter to diss her. Arie is best friends with Emily’s former fiancé Jef Holm, and he helped Jef through his difficult break up when Jef was pining for Emily. Now, Arie is insisting that there is more to Emily than meets the eye, as he tells a fan that we only know “50% of the story.” Sounds juicy!
As previously reported by HollywoodLife.com, 28-year-old Jef recently began dating Katianna Bear, a pretty college senior, and things are getting serious! Jef spent the weekend before Thanksgiving in Arizona with Katianna, 23, Arie, 30, and Arie’s girlfriend Courtney Robertson. Jef has clearly moved on from Emily, and Arie and Courtney are loved up, so why is there animosity?
Arie tweeted Emily on Nov. 25 to say “You’re not the person everyone thinks you are.”
He then quickly deleted the tweet. But why? One of Emily’s fans came to her defense, saying, “How immature to call Emily out on twitter like that. She didn’t pick you move on. Stop acting like a little girl. #manup.”
And Arie responded, “People such as yourself only know 50% of the story. Please don’t judge on a matter you know nothing about.”
So interesting! Why does Arie have beef with Emily? Perhaps it is because she rejected all of Jef’s advances when he was trying to win her back, and Arie knows firsthand how upset Jef must have been. But was dissing her so publicly over Twitter a wise move?
When Emily, 26, was engaged to Jef, she mentioned that Arie might act as the best man at their wedding. Let’s hope that their former close bond isn’t ruined forever.

Bleck .. Jef is so ugly. Him and Emily look like brother and sister. Arie is way hotter and seemed like a nicer guy, judging by what I saw of him on The Bachelorette, after you take into account, editing, etc. of course. :)
