Is Angus being punished for speaking out against the show? Find out why Jake will be M.I.A. in the new year.

Half-man Angus T. Jones won’t be appearing in early 2013 episodes of Two and a Half Men, according to The Hollywood Reporter. But before you go crying “conspiracy,” Angus’ absence has nothing to do with the video posted to YouTube on Nov. 26, in which he called the show “filth” and urged viewers to stop tuning in. In fact, producers reportedly have yet to reach out to the 19-year-old star about his rant.

Angus’ character — he plays Jake, the son of Jon Cryer‘s Alan — has only made sparse appearances via Skype this season since enlisting in the U.S. Army, so his absence from the new year’s first few episodes is hardly unusual. Though they’re being filmed after the video’s release, the episodes had already been written long beforehand.

In case you missed out on the fun of Angus’ video, which was a taped testimonial for The Forerunner Chronicles as part of Angus’ new spiritual path, catch up on his rant below:

What a crock. This is so blatantly not an issue – it’s just the latest way to generate a bit of controversy and get some publicity for a show that’s getting a bit long in the tooth.

What a breath of fresh air. He is speaking from his heart, a heart for God. Takes alot of courage to speak the truth in a arena of money and fame is there God, where most have reprobate heart’s and minds. To take a stand for good and not evil is as real as it gets,in a business where bad is good and good is bad.

He should have been fired immediately for the things he said about that show that has given him so many opportunities.
Sabra, taking a stand for good is a great thing to do. Saying Jay Z has a direct connection with Satan, saying Obama is Hitler, (just to name 2 of these new outlandish revelations of his) is not taking a stand for good. It is in fact the ramblings of a young man who has recently been dragged down the scary path of a religious cult. Watch a few of his rants on youtube, and don’t forget to note the black guy sitting very quietly beside him. This guy is his newfound religious mentor putting these thoughts in his head and who no doubt will start charging him for sessions.(If he hasn’t already)
Angus has had issues with drugs and his family are pretty much a bunch of criminals, I think this is a case of a guy desperately looking for something but ending up stumbling into something more dangerous. Unless you believe a gas shortage in the US will cause people to start eating eachother, then it probably all sounds normal to you!
