Justin Bieber Called ‘White Trash Prince’ After Overalls Incident

Justin defends himself after a reporter called him a ‘white trash prince’ for wearing overalls while meeting the Prime Minister. However, the Prime Minster didn’t seem to mind! Do YOU think Justin is ‘white trash’?

The gloves are off and the claws are out! On Nov. 24, Justin Bieber met Prime Minister Stephen Harper to accept the Diamond Jubilee award, and he caused controversy by wearing overalls. A reporter for The Daily Mail has since called Justin a “white trash prince” in an article, and the pop star took to Instagram to defend himself.

Justin received a lot of criticism for his choice of wardrobe, as Twitter users and bloggers attacked him for his disrespectful outfit, as he wore a backwards baseball cap and grey overalls, while the Prime Minister, on the other hand, wore a crisp suit. Daily Mail reporter Hayley Peterson wrote the article, where she called Justin a “white trash prince,” and condemned his choice of clothing.

Justin took to Instagram on Nov. 25 to defend himself, where he named the reporter personally. He said, ”The pic of me and the Prime Minister was taken in a room in the arena where i was performing at that day. I walked straight from my meet and greet to him, if you “Hayley” expect me to have a change of clothes let a loan a suit at that specific time that’s crazy, It wasn’t like it was like I was going into his environment we were at a hockey arena. Wow am i ever white trash hayley peterson lol.”

Justin, 20, obviously thought meeting the Prime Minster in overalls was funny as he tweeted, “I met the Prime Minster in overalls lol.” However, he really didn’t find being called a “white trash prince” funny! The Prime Minister was not offended by Justin’s choice of attire, as he tweeted “In fairness to @justinbieber, I told him I would be wearing my overalls too. #cdnpoli #beliebers”. Ha, that would have been a funny picture!

Oh and another thing just to think about…it would be really hard to keep yourself put together every single day, I mean I know for me there are those days that I just am straight up groddy but I just dont have the poparazzi to document it…he is the same way, no he wont be perfect, yes he will make mistakes and not always have his life together–but who does?!?! But the poparrazzi will be there to catch his every mistake and people will comment about how terrible of a person he is when really no one should be talking. And that goes for every celebrity out there and every person so quick to be rude and demeaning….sorry I dont want to offend anyone but I just dont understand people sometimes….ok Im done I think for now. :)

I understand that not everyone is a fan of Bieber, but I think that calling him names is really immature, leave to poor kid alone. Calling him “white trash” and “garbage” is not nessessary, yes, he wore overalls but there is no changing that now so get over it, it happened. Was it a mistake…maybe, but lets not judge his character or call him awful things because of it. It is rude.

Kids these days… Where are the parents? Are parents not teaching their children about respect anymore?? If that was my kid, I’d make sure he had 12 outfits if he was going to be meeting the prime minister!!

Honestly does it really matter what Justin wears?! He is a 18 year old boy, not a 45 year old man. With the setting of a hockey rink I don’t think a suit is nessessary. For everyone who has a problem with the overalls , either dont look at the picture or get over it! Wasting time discussing what he wears is a waste of time, and if you dont like them then dont wear them yourself. Its simple but calling Justin names is 1. rude and 2. totally uncalled for and 3. demeaning
SO if you don’t have anything nice to say, don’t say anything at all!

BTW Haley is a writer for DailyMail. Who wrote an article about him. (She said he was white trash)
He was preforming, don’t blame him for not having a tux at a hockey arena. The PM came to him, they weren’t in his office or something.

The Canadian Prime Minister came to Justin (not the other way round) while he was taking a break backstage! He was the star performer at Toronto’s GREY CUP football match!
Caught completely by surprise at a “football arena”, Justin was not expecting this award and didn’t have a suit ready! Come on, be realistic, how do football fans dress these days – in a suit, in a tux with a bowtie?
Also the Canadian flags in background make it seem like he’s on stage in front of huge audience, but actually its fake media props – there’s nobody there at all except the cameras – so there’s no prestigious event taking place and no “disrespect”.
If anything, if the PM wants to show respect for this old British award, he should have officially invited Justin to his office to present it? But it was probably that him and Justin have different schedules. But either way, he couldn’t get a tux. AND Justin joked about it on Twitter but so did the PM. You people are so quick to judge!

I can’t believe he travels with only one outfit. I guess he doesn’t make enough money or have enough people helping him while doing gigs to have more respectable attire available. Maybe we should take up a collection plate for him, you know, to keep a spare set of clothes handy for when the Prime Minister visits. Hayley was right. Bieber thinks he’s above it all. And trying to get his teenybopper beliebers to now attack the reporter is childish. What a sook. I wish he had actually gone to a real school, because then he would know that that bevaviour is for school kids. What an ego he has.

Unfortunately you cant judge him the same as all the non celebs …..Yes he is only human but as a celeb you have some kind of image you have to maintain . Whether you choose to be a role model or not …you are held to that standard and not that it makes a diff what you wear..I just think it’s disrespectful and comes off as some kind of joke to him meeting the prime minster in overalls….And that’s maybe one of the reasons people don’t take him seriously…Just Saying….
