It’s a teenage dream fusion! Glee will be covering one of One Direction’s biggest hits in the Nov. 29 episode! Listen to the new song here and read on for all the details.

Even though Glee actually aired a new episode on Thanksgiving, Nov. 22, their Thanksgiving-themed episode will air on Nov. 29. It may seem strange, but due to the fact that the cast will be covering One Direction’s “Live While We’re Young,” I’m willing to forgive for this ironic misstep.

Heading off to sectionals, New Directions has a lot to worry about — they’re missing powerhouses Rachel (Lea Michele), Kurt (Chris Colfer), Quinn (Dianna Agron), Mercedes (Amber Riley) and Santana (Naya Rivera).

Not only are they missing their usual key players, but The Warblers, New Directions’ fierce competitor, will be performing a barbershop rendition of 1D’s “Live While We’re Young.”

Will New Directions fail to score at sectionals as they did in season one?

What do YOU think, HollywoodLifers?  Are you happy Glee is covering One Direction again?

After hearing the Warblers take on this One Direction song, I am a little worried about the New Directions chances this year. It seems like the Warblers have vastly improved, but I am trying to reserve judgment until the episode airs. A coworker at DISH thinks that after winning last year, they have to make it to Nationals. I am anxious to find out for sure, I am glad that I won’t miss any of the episode with my DISH Hopper. With my crazy schedule, I have been using the PrimeTime Anytime function to stay caught up. It automatically records all of the shows on the four major networks during primetime. I love never worrying about missing anything, especially with episodes like this one. It would be extremely disappointing if the New Directions didn’t move on from Sectionals. But with them barely choosing songs last episode, they may be a little unprepared this time around.
