Child Services Opens Investigation On Halle Berry's Daughter After Brawl

Halle’s daughter Nahla, 4, saw the violent fight between dad Gabriel Aubry and mom’s boyfriend Olivier Martinez on Nov. 22 — and now Child Protective Services is investigating for abuse.

The L.A. County Department of Child Protective Services is re-opening an abuse investigation involving Halle Berry and Gabriel Aubry‘s daughter Nahla, after the violent brawl on Thanksgiving day between Gabriel and Halle’s current boyfriend, Olivier Martinez.

“Detectives from the LAPD formally contacted CPS after Gabe’s arrest, because Nahla was present when the fight occurred,” a source told RadarOnline.com.

Even though Nahla wasn’t involved in the fight, child services were still contacted because of the history of abuse allegations in the family.

“Social workers will be interviewing Halle, Gabriel and Olivier about what happened on Thanksgiving. DCFS must ensure that Nahla’s environment is safe,” the source added.

Gabriel Aubry allegedly threw the first punch during the fight on Nov. 22, and both men were hospitalized afterwards. Gabriel was charged with misdemeanor battery and has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Olivier, Halle, and little Nahla.

Is easy: see Gabriel condition to realize he was agressed. As woman I would be concerned having my child besides such agressive man( Oliver). Halle, she is only concern for her hormones, she cares nothing about the well being of her daughter being far away from her dad

It’s not just what I’m apparently seeing…all places are saying that the stupid Frenchman had already threatened to kill Gabriel, and it only makes sense that he and HB are so mad at him for keeping them from moving to France. You don’t know it all either, Anjelah!

Gabriel didn’t start the fight!!

Plus if she was smart she’d marry the man now get her citizenship and move to France (yes I’m aware of the judges order). But her setting primary residence there would give France jurisdiction over the court case forcing the previous denial to be reexamined Since Halle has the child most of the time and Nahla would have 2 caregivers over the 1 Halle would most likely get primary physical custody, may not have to pay child support anymore, and deny her daughter to leave the county w/o her legal permission. it’s more complicated than I’m making it seem but basically the sooner she does this the sooner she can exploit the loopholes in the system and taken her child.

I’m a lawyer and I have to tell you that you’re wrong. French courts will respect a custody decision made by a US court and if Halle were to move to France with the little girl, she would be charged with kidnapping. Whether or not she’s married to a French citizen or gets French citizenship herself is completely irrelevant.

I don’t understand why Halle wants to tear that little girl away from her dad. I thought she grew up without a father. Those two knew exactly what they were doing when they baited Gabriel. I hope the judge sees that he was defending his rights as a father and didn’t want some smooth talking French guy trying to take his place in his daughters life! I find Halle and Oliver disgusting!

The main thing most people over look is that Halle pays Gabriel child support even though she has Nahla most of the time. Add that to the fact she can’t stand the man of coarse she’ll try to seek primary custody. But Gabriel should’ve kept his anger in check.

You don’t even know who,where or why the foght started! This is ongoing..why should Halle not be happy because Gabriel isn’t. Life goes on, she allows him to see & care for his daughter. If he can’t control his emotions in front of his 4-yr-old daughter then he shouldn’t be allowed to come within 100 feet of her. I think you’re disgusting for failing to see the real victim. OMG!!this was so planned it’s not even funny!!! Halle and her Boyfriend had this planned in advance!!! Gabriel dropping off “THEIR” daughter on Thankgiving day to her mom, then Oliver calls him (Gabriel to the side for a few words) and BAM!!!! What the hell did he say to Gabrial… Halle knew what would drive Gabriel so mad that they had this planned in advance!!! NOW the judge will rule in their favor!!! Halle Berry should stay living in LA so her daughter can be with the father who seems to be a good father. She can always move to another area of CA for more privacy. It is not fair to take her daughter to France just because her boyfriend is French and now wants to move back.
It was a big mistake from Aubrey to start a fight specially in front of the girl, all this is sad and unnecessary.

i think that the fight shouldn’t have happened, but I don’t think they need to bring CPS into it… it’s a fight and there will be plenty of those in Nahla’s life
