Kristen Stewart: Fans’ Opinions After My Affair Were ‘Destructive’

Kristen admits in a new interview that her fans’ strong opinions regarding her affair are hurtful and ‘destructive.’

Many news outlets have chosen to steer clear of Kristen Stewart’s affair with Rupert Sanders while the actress promotes Breaking Dawn Part 2. However, one magazine DID ask Kristen, 22, how she felt about her cheating scandal being plastered all over magazines this past summer.

“If I consider the opinion of others, respect for privacy, it can be very destructive. I decided not to pay attention,” Kristen told Tele Star magazine of her affair.

Kristen was also asked a number of breakup questions during the Los Angeles premiere on Nov. 12.

It must be awkward for Kristen to have to answer such personal questions, but I suppose that is the price one pays for being famous. It’s bittersweet.

No doubt that Kristen is still avoiding reading comments here and elsewhere. What do the opinions of people (including myself) that know nothing of what really went on yet are willing to jump to emphatic judgments about her matter at all. Rob, Kris, Liberty, and Rupert all appear to be better off now that the truths of their relationships have come to light (for each other) than before. Where is the harm except in unmet expectations from fans?

@princess, sweetie its the price of been famous, Kristen is and rupert isnt. Liberty were cheated so She had the right to post anything She wanted, She was hurted. As you said, your 20, Kristen 22, you both are adults that know whats correct and whats wrong, at your age you can be seduced by a 30, 40, or 50 year old man and you can say NO and do the right thing, yet, She chose to do the wrong. You would say, it was just a kiss, in the first place its What the media wrote, we dont know, but if it was only a kiss, She still cheats, if you have a boyfriend you cant be kissing somebody else, because you will been cheating. And finally She needs to learn to close her big mouth and stop complaining about her fans or ex fans comments, She earn them.

@ princess, we are not only blaming Kristen, rupert has his part in this mess, but Kristen could said no to him, but instead She enjoy herself. And at least rupert learn to shut his mouth and Kristen has been talking without a filter between her brain and mouth

Yeah..but she’d already made THAT mistake! What for we judge her now? It’d already happened! She chose it herself, we can’t change the fact though if we’re blaming her now. She had to move on no matter what isn’t she? Of course people around her will blame her or judge her in the future like we all do, but IT had already happened, she’d already made that mistake! She chose that herself. What can we do? Keep scolding her and judging her will not help her future. Keep judging her for what?

Kristen is not good enough for Rob’s forgiveness. She was dead wrong and he is so blinded by his love for her that he can’t see her for the manipulative coldhearted person she really is. She’s selfish and if she loved him at all she would let him go or she would’ve nvr cheated to begin with!

But anyway, the end of breaking dawn, has gotten a whole other look, especially for the fans, you look in a different way anyway to the film, I find the movie beautiful, but now looked the movie differently. what a pity, the premiere had must have a different end, pity that it ended on a rotten way.

You sound so jealous and confused. I feel sorry that you have such a dislike of people who like a book series, the author and care about the characters and the people who portrayed them. Sorry. How would you like it if they said that about you? If you were interested about a book and it was made into a movie and you suggested it and everybody started ragging on you. It wouldn’t be nice.
