Chris is still paying for his sins, as protests in Guyana over his 2009 assault of girlfriend Rihanna have led the superstar to back out of an upcoming show! Read on for all the details.

Even though Rihanna has forgiven Chris Brown for his attack on her in 2009, there are still those who haven’t. As Chris is out on his “Carpe Diem” world tour, he was due to perform a show in Guyana on Dec. 26, but protests over his violent past have caused the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer to cancel the show!

Huffington Post reports that the concert promoter Hits & Jams Entertainment said on Thursday, Nov. 22 that Chris backed out of the show because of his discomfort with the protests. Women’s rights groups and opposition lawmakers said Chris would not be welcome in Guyana.

Do you think it’s fair that Chris is still being judged for the 2009 incident, HollywoodLifers?

I am like most of you opposed to physical violence of any nature… However, how long are people that had nothing to do with that incident going to make this YOUNG man pay for that indiscretion. There was no previous pattern of this, LET THE KID ALONE! DANG?! The two people involved have gotten past it, but “we” with all our Sanctimonious aires can’t let it go. Chris, really needs to get ahead of this and himself start boycotting some of these places that tend to attention. When I say Boycott, I mean… stop his music from being sold, streamed or any of attributes of his brand being distributed in the areas and people will let it go.

“Chris and Rihanna are constantly Winning as they are too strong and resilient to be broken. All this negative press just make me buy more of their music to support them. They’re winning and the press is helping them win. Yeah.”

To: Billy Nillies, have you not learn’t anything from your boss Bonnie Fuller? Anytime she does a write up, she makes sure it is credible news. How can you quote the like of Huffpoff, Perez etc as a news source, when everyone turns to HL for authentic gossip. I am so disappointed that you are referencing Hufposs as a source. They have nothing else to report but hate filled news and I hope and pray that you will never, ever ever reference them again on your blog. You are doing quite well without their kind of news, don’t degrees to their level. Advice from a fan.

This information is just rumors , Chris brown did infact cancel the show for the 26.12.2012 so that his crew memebers can spend xmas with there families.. If you have not check chris will be coming to South Africa and will be doing his shows in Johannesburg and Cape Town and as far as the country knows this is the real reason why his cancelling his show for the 26.12.2012. Im surprised people would go out of there way to destroy him and rihanna..

To add to that, It was never listed amongst Chris’s confirmed tour dates, so he never confirmed it, even though the organizer wanted him to perform.

People got to let this go. It happened so long ago and it’s really nobody’s business. I never heard of him hitting someone again, so this was a one time thing. Everyone makes mistakes no matter how big they are. If anyone truly wanted him to become a better man since then they’d have been hoping and praying for him. Truth be told, they just don’t want him to be better. Another person to take easy shots at because they have nothing better to do than to try to tear someone down. There’s never a mistake too great to recover and bounce back.

First of all this is not true. He cancelled it because he wanted his crew to spend Xmas with their families cause they left USA 1st week of this month and will be on tour till december 26, so he cancelled december 26 for them to be home for xmas.

Rihanna doesn’t deserve Chris after what went on though he shouldn’t be judged because every man in this world isn’t such good man’s.. maybe you should look into that before pointing your fingers and judging Chris Brown…

Thanks for clarity on this as these bloggers will run this to the ground. Chris and Rihanna are constantly Winning as they are too strong and resilient to be broken. All this negative press just make me buy more of their music to support them. They’re winning and the press is helping them win. Yeah.
