Chris is still paying for his sins, as protests in Guyana over his 2009 assault of girlfriend Rihanna have led the superstar to back out of an upcoming show! Read on for all the details.
Even though Rihanna has forgiven Chris Brown for his attack on her in 2009, there are still those who haven’t. As Chris is out on his “Carpe Diem” world tour, he was due to perform a show in Guyana on Dec. 26, but protests over his violent past have caused the “Don’t Wake Me Up” singer to cancel the show!
Huffington Post reports that the concert promoter Hits & Jams Entertainment said on Thursday, Nov. 22 that Chris backed out of the show because of his discomfort with the protests. Women’s rights groups and opposition lawmakers said Chris would not be welcome in Guyana.
Do you think it’s fair that Chris is still being judged for the 2009 incident, HollywoodLifers?

I am like most of you opposed to physical violence of any nature… However, how long are people that had nothing to do with that incident going to make this YOUNG man pay for that indiscretion. There was no previous pattern of this, LET THE KID ALONE! DANG?! The two people involved have gotten past it, but “we” with all our Sanctimonious aires can’t let it go. Chris, really needs to get ahead of this and himself start boycotting some of these places that tend to attention. When I say Boycott, I mean… stop his music from being sold, streamed or any of attributes of his brand being distributed in the areas and people will let it go.
