Thanksgiving is just hours away, so why not warm up for the food-fest by filling up on spoilers?

Think of this week’s Spoiler Party as a weird dinner, full of revelations. I’ll be serving up scoop on Elijah’s long-awaited return to Mystic Falls on The Vampire Diaries, with a side of details about Byron’s involvement with Alison on Pretty Little Liars — and for dessert, a few teases about the upcoming third season of Awkward. Dig in!

The Vampire Diaries

We can all agree there’s been a serious lack of Elijah this season, but rest assured, the perfect-haired Original will be back in our living rooms before you know it. “I am returning soon,” Daniel Gillies told us at the Baja International Film Festival. “[Executive producer] Julie Plec is saying episode 15 and 16, but I am going back to film very soon! I am very lucky to be on two shows [The Vampire Diaries and NBC’s Saving Hope] that are on the air.”

Pretty Little Liars

One of the biggest surprises from the Halloween special was Byron’s secret connection to Alison, and Lucy Hale says the surprises are just beginning. “In the remainder of the season, that’s one of the bigger issues that we deal with,” she told me Nov. 20 at the kick-off event for Duracell and Toys for Tots’ Power Holiday Smiles program. “Aria finds out, and the rest of the girls find out, but we don’t know if there’s truth to it. It puts a huge strain on Aria and Byron, but you do come to find out what actually happened.”

We’re still many painful months away from season two, but Nikki DeLoach was able to reveal a few details about what’s to come. “I do know we have a lot of recurring characters coming back, like Aunt Ali,” she told me. “I’m hoping, fingers crossed, that we’ll also get Kris Polaha back. … Every single character on the show has a special arc this season, which is going to be really nice.”
