Taylor is being linked to One Direction’s Harry Styles and I hope they don’t get too serious because Taylor should just become a serial dater and I’ll tell you why!
Taylor Swift is 22, gorgeous, talented and incredibly smart. The singer has had many well-known relationships, Jake Gyllenhaal, 31, John Mayer, 35, and most recently, Connor Kennedy, 18. Although some fans may think it’s too soon for Taylor to date Harry Styles, 18, I think it’s great!
Taylor is to be commended for singing about all of her break ups. Why? Because it makes her more relatable and she is the voice of a generation of young girls who get broken up over text instead of face-to-face these days. But before you go shaking your head that she may be already back on the love wagon with Harry, don’t start wagging your finger.
Taylor is young! Taylor needs to get out there and date tons of guys to figure out what she wants. Connor is still in high school, so it’s clear why they couldn’t last. Jake seemed to be emotionally disconnected and John, well just listen to her single “Dear John.”
Dating an international popstar is the perfect match for her right now. They are both busy and totally understand the music industry. Would you rather her sit at home crying over her exes? No way! Taylor needs to be wined, dined, and loved. This girl is a 10 and needs a guy who will worship her. Is that next significant love going to be the cougar-loving UK boy band hottie? I have no idea, but I can tell you that Taylor needs to keep the dating train going.
The best way to get over an old flame is a new flames and she might as well have multiple candles burning at once. Plus, it means we’re in for some new music after this relationship and we all want another “We Are Never, Ever, Getting Back Together.”
