The sultry singer is adding a brand new scent to her repertoire: Nude by Rihanna, and this one is her most personal perfume yet! Find out the scoop here.
Rihanna‘s latest scent is a “seductive floral oriental” blend and is meant to evoke thoughts of “glistening” skin. The new launch follows her first rebellion-exploring scents, Reb’l Fleur and Rebelle, “When creating my first scent, Reb’l Fleur, I wanted it to be a really strong scent — daring and bold,” says Rihanna, 24. “I have gotten more personal with Nude.”
Launching in Macy’s on Black Friday, Nude will retail for $49 to $59. It includes notes of guava nectar, mandarin and pear — ingredients Rihanna said remind her of growing up in Saint Michael, Barbados — as well as orange blossom, gardenia petals and vanilla orchid.
The scent’s ad campaign, shot by Tony Duran, was deemed “too hot” for stores. It shows a lingerie-wearing Rihanna, so an alternate image was created for retail distribution.
