The Disney princess is accused of using her relationship with Justin to raise her profile, and I say these allegations are hurtful and unjust. Selena would never do that!
Selena Gomez is a beautiful, independent young woman who has garnered all her success on her own. Anyone who suggests she is riding on her boyfriend Justin Bieber‘s coattails to become more famous is a hater. In the light of their recent break up/reconciliation, Selena’s intentions have come into question, with many people suggesting that their relationship was one of convenience. As a believer in true love, I think Selena’s feelings for Justin are honest and real, and anyone who suggests she is invested in the relationship for any other reason needs to read less conspiracy theories.
According to a source close to Justin: “Selena is more enamored with the celebrity that surrounds Justin, more then Justin himself. And he is actually starting to realize that is happening.” I just don’t think this is true!
Selena has grown up on our screens, and she has played adorable characters like Gianna in Barney, Alex in Wizards of Waverly Place and Grace in Monte Carlo. She works with UNICEF, and she recently won the Glamour Woman of the Year award. Selena owns rescue dogs, and she and her band The Scene have performed for charity. Does that sound like a fame hungry schemer to you?
Selena and Justin had a high profile relationship, and when it went sour, it was natural that there would be speculation as to what went wrong. Justin’s wandering eye was blamed, but at least there was a reason for that – he was seen taking a Victoria’s Secret Model on a date! Selena has done nothing to suggest she is a fame hungry girl who wanted nothing more from Justin than publicity.
Selena is an actress, singer, model, and perfume designer — why would she need to use Justin for his fame? She is an inspiration to other young women, and anyone who says that she needs a boyfriend to further her career is just jealous!
