Robert Pattinson Blames 'Twilight' For Kristen Stewart Affair Madness

Kristen’s affair with Rupert Sanders nearly destroyed her relationship with Robert Pattinson over the summer, but R-Patz seems to blame ‘Twilight’ for the madness surrounding the cheating scandal.

Kristen Stewart‘s affair with Rupert Sanders caused a firestorm in the media and humiliated Robert Pattinson in the process. However, according to a new interview with Rob, if it weren’t for Twilight, the affair — among other things — wouldn’t have been so hard to deal with.

“There is a price, which you have to pay. You are 24 hours in the job, if you go out in public,” Rob tells Bild regarding the repercussions of starring in a huge franchise like The Twilight Saga.

“You’re trying to protect your life, but at the same time you also rob your life,” Kristen added.

We have to agree. Because Kristen and Rob are dating in real life, the line between their lives and the ones of their characters, Edward and Bella, is blurred. The fact that Robsten has a real life romance only heightens their popularity with the Twilight fans. Unfortunately, as proven by Kristen’s affair, fame is not always full of glitz and glamour.

Of course twilight is not to blame! It’s stupid Kristen’s fault! She just wants more fame and attention and to be the front cover of te magazine! She knew how much it would break Rob’s heart and trust me, after the twilight saga is done, they’ll break up.

Yes. Everyone is so obsessed. Kristen has grown up in Hollywood and has not had a normal life and at a certain point reality and fantasy blurrs and that fine line no longer exists. We all pressure Rob and Kristen to be a real life couple and live up to the big screen “fantasy” couple and the stress has got to be unbearable. Plus we expect both of them to be PERFECT and NO ONE is perfect. And if one of them screws up and makes a mistake they get crucified! I bet if Rob was the one to have an affair 1st there would not be this much attention because it’s ok for men to roam around becaus we cannot call them sluts and whores, but if it’s the woman then public perception is how dare she the slut! And I bet you anything that Rupert was luring her and sweet talking her and confusing her and doing everything in his power to snag her so he could put another notch in his belt. So why isn’t he being slandered and labeled a man-whore??!! No, cause it’s much easier to pick in the woman who never had a childhood and has a ton of scrutiny on her and cameras following her every move and no personal life. But Don’t blame Rupert for a thing-he gets off scott free. Please. Get rid of the double standard and the sexisim. Why do the men get off with out so much of a scandal and Kristen gets all the blame? Huh? Can anyone answer that one? She’s just a kid. Not a seductress. Why didn’t he keep his pants zipped? Isn’t he old enought to know better? I bet Kristen isn’t the 1st young “child” I’ll call her he’s conquered and she won’t be his last. So why not go after him. She made a mistake. She admitted it. She apologized for it. She’s making ammends for it. Where I came from if you confess your sins and repent and your forgiven then your forgiven and given a 2nd chance. So let it go and get on with your lives. You cannot undo the past-you learn from your mistakes, you move on and you don’t repeat-you grow from it and become a better person. GIVE HER A FRICKING BREAK. I’m sure that those of you that critisize her are so flipping perfect you can walk on water. Be for real and grow up!!!! Get past it and move on!!!!! Get a life!!!
