HollywoodLife.com has spoken to a source who tells us that Kim is hopping on a plane and jetting down to North Carolina to attend the 2012 Marine Corps Ball — isn’t that so sweet!

Kim Kardashian is such a cool chick! HollywoodLife.com can tell you that the 32-year-old reality star was invited by one of the Marines, and she’s accepted his invitation to be his date. This will definitely make this guy’s day!

“Kim is really looking forward to going,” the insider tells us.

We think this is so awesome of Kim. The Keeping Up with the Kardashians star is so busy with filming Kourtney & Kim Take Miami and her Kardashian Kollection clothing line, that we are surprised she even found the time to go. Hopefully, her boyfriend Kanye West won’t mind sharing Kim for the night!

If you remember, Mila Kunis attended last year’s ball, after being invited by a Marine, too!
