In an attempt to solidify their relationship, Justin reportedly proposed to Selena twice before they broke up. Should she have said yes?

Justin Bieber took advice from Beyonce and allegedly tried to put a ring on it — the “it” being Selena Gomez. Unfortunately, the former Disney star wasn’t ready to walk down the aisle.

Justin, 18, reportedly proposed to Selena, 20, a few months ago, but she said no, according to Blind Gossip. Selena allegedly told him to ask her again in a few months — he did, but she still said no.

News of Justin and Selena’s split broke on Nov. 9, sending fans into a tizzy and erupting various break up theories including trust issues and Miley Cyrus!

“They have agreed to never, never, ever talk about the proposals! It would be far too damaging to his reputation if people found out that a smaller star turned down a bigger star,” the website reports.

HollywoodLife.com reached out to Justin’s rep, but we have not received a comment.

i love both justin bieber and selena gomez. i think they should get married as they love each other and are perfect for each other. but they should not marry so soon as their whole 20′s is yet to get discovered. so they should wait now and get married in future for sure. love you both.with lots of love.

I think they should get married ,but they should just wait till they r a little older because there is just too much craziness going right that they just wouldn’t be ready. I love justin and Selena very much ,but they should just live life now while they r still young and then get married in the future. I am very sad that they had split they were perfect for each other. I miss you Jelena! ;(
