Rob’s family was outraged when they first heard the news that Kristen had been cheating on him with Rupert Sanders. Rob’s two older, protective sisters, Lizzy and Victoria Pattinson urged him not to take her back.
“Robert’s sisters were fuming with Kristen for hurting their brother in the way she did,” a source told RadarOnline. “Lizzy and Victoria felt terrible for heartbroken Robert, especially because of the embarrassment that was caused by the manner in which the affair was exposed.”
The sisters felt that if Kristen cheated on him once, what’s to stop her from doing it again. According to the source, they even went as far as to say, “They will kill him if he gets back with Kristen.”
Fortunately, as HollywoodLife.com previously reported, Kristen was able to win back Rob’s sisters’ hearts, when she reached out to them and begged for their forgiveness.
“What broke their (Lizzy and Victoria) hearts was Kristen saying she didn’t want ‘to lose my family’ and the tears worked,” a source told US Weekly. “They’re on good terms now.”
