John, creator of the McAfee antivirus programs, is the prime suspect in the shooting murder of American Gregory Faull in Belize, according to a new report! Read on for all the details.
John McAfee, the billionaire creator of the McAfee antivirus software, has been accused of the shooting death of an American living in Belize named Gregory Faull, who was gunned down in his home in San Pedro Town on the island of Ambergris Caye on Saturday, Nov. 10.
Gizmodo.com reports that Belize police have named John the price suspect. Details surrounding the alleged argument between the two men are scant, but the police claim that Gregory had filed a formal complaint about John with the local mayor’s office, claiming he had been firing off guns and exhibiting “roguish behavior.”
A statement from the San Pedro police, printed in full on Gizmodo, says Gregory was found lying face up “in a pool of blood.” The police haven’t been able to establish a motive, though Gizmodo reports that their final disagreement involved dogs. The police claim that John is “on the run from the murder charges.”
