Demi Lovato took to Twitter on Nov. 10 to send some encouraging words into the Universe — were they meant for her BFF Selena Gomez after her breakup with Justin?
Demi Lovato, 20, isn’t one for keeping her thoughts to herself. Although they have lost touch in the last few years, her former BFF Selena Gomez is going through a very public breakup with Justin Bieber — were Demi’s newest tweets a message to Sel?
Demi tweeted a series of thoughts on Nov. 10, starting with, “When you resent someone, pray for only good things to happen to them,” then, “When you are in the dumps, look around at all the things you have to be thankful for.”
Followed by, “When you start to beat yourself up, remind yourself of how worthy you are of love.” Finally, “Sometimes we’re gonna have our bad days, but we must continue to work to be great.. Keep smiling. It looks beautiful on you!! :)”
Selena and Justin reportedly broke up around November 2. Selena “is way too mature for him,” a source told HollywoodLife.com EXCLUSIVELY. Justin was spotted with Victoria’s Secret model Barbara Palvin at The Lion King on Broadway on November 8, but Selena and Justin were reunited on Nov. 11 in New York City.
Selena and Demi used to be super close — they became BFFs on the Disney Channel movie Princess Protection Program, but have somewhat lost touch since Demi is busy judging on The X Factor and Selena is filming the reunion special for Wizards of Waverly Place.
Speaking of Wizards, Sel’s co-stars have spoken out in support of Selena.
Sel’s on-screen Dad David Deluise said, “All woman should be treated with respect! Listen up boy @selenagomez.”
Jennifer Stone tweeted, “That’s why you don’t rob the cradle, because babe’s be trippin.”

Aw that’s so sweet. Selena you should join Demi Lovato on “The X-Factor” after your “Wizards of Waverly Place” reunion is done. That way y’all can spend more time together and work things out. Focus on your relationship with Demi not Justin.
