Katie Holmes & Suri Cruise To Spend Holidays With Tom Cruise -- Report

The divorced couple is determined to show Suri they are still friends, so all three are jet-setting to Colorado for Thanksgiving, according to a new report. Do YOU think that’s a good idea?

Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes are putting their differences aside — and spending Thanksgiving with daughter Suri Cruise in Telluride, Colo.

“Tom and Katie are determined to show Suri that they’re still friends and devoted parents,” a source told OK! magazine.

“They know it will mean so much for her, and both are happy to swallow their pride to make sure she has a fun holiday.”

If the couple is indeed setting their differences aside and working towards a reconciliation for the sake of Suri, it will be a great step for their co-parenting.

But Tom was reportedly supposed to be in New York for his youngest daughter’s first day of first grade at Avenues School in September– and never showed.

Maybe enough time has passed to heal old wounds. “Thanksgiving has always been a really big deal for them,” the source added.

For Thanksgiving 2012 I really wish Tom Cruise will step into Edward VIII shoes and abdicate his Scientology throne for a Higher Love and propose to beautiful and talented Katie Holmes. I really wish Katie would re-marry Tom Cruise (Elizabeth Taylor re-married Richard Burton) … and that not only because their lovely and smart child Suri … :)

Sounds like a good plan, if only the press & other family members stay out of the situation! Let them have their time alone….

Tom’s bad luck started when he met Kathy Holmes. The only good thing out of that marriage is Suri. And if she DID have a 5 year contract as suggested, then she is not the sweet little innocent that some people are makoing her out to be. I for one am glad she left. Now his career can take off again. She was the millstone round his neck Will always be just a starlet.

YES, FOR SURI’S SAKE, SHE IS VERY YOUNG AND IMPRESSIONABLE. AN EASY RELAXED WEEKEND IN TELLURIDE, SKIING, FUN LUNCHES, NOT FANCY DINNERS AND A GREAT TURKEY DAY DINNER TOGETHER. I HOPE KATIES PARENTS AND SIBLINGS JOIN THEM WITH SURI’S COUSINS. IT WOULD CERTAINLY EASE ANY TENSION.
