Barbara may be most famous for being Justin Bieber’s rumored squeeze, but there’s a lot more to the sexy supermodel than meets the eye.

Barbara Palvin made headlines after being spotted flirting with Justin Bieber at the Victoria’s Secret Fashion Show on Nov. 7, before attending The Lion King on Broadway with him the following night. Should Selena Gomez be concerned? Barbara, 19, is not just a pretty face, and there are a few things you should know about her.

1. She’s Hungarian:

Barbara grew up in Budapest, Hungary, and was discovered in 2006. She then moved to Asia, where her career rapidly advanced. She’s been on the covers of  L’Officiel, Vogue Russia, Glamour Hungary and Jalouse magazine, and she has modeled for Armani Exchange, H&M, Victoria’s Secret, and Pull and Bear.

2. She’s an ambassador for L’Oréal Paris

Barbara became an ambassador for L’Oréal in Feb. 2012, and she’s the face of the sheer lipstick Rouge Caresse. “I’m very excited about the prospect of joining the L’Oréal Paris family alongside huge, iconic celebrities such as Gwen Stefani and Claudia Schiffer,” she has said. “I have a very personal vision of beauty, which is very closely aligned with [L'Oréal's] modern approach.”

3. She’s on models.com’s list of the top 50 female models:

Barbara is ranked No. 40 on a list of the top models in the world. Barbara got worldwide recognition after opening the pre Fall 2011 Chanel Fashion show.

4. She’s Russian model Natalia Vodianova’s doppelganger:

Barbara is often compared to supermodel Natalia Vodianova, as they both have pale skin and strong brow bones. Barbara admits Natalia is one of her favorite models. The editor of British Vogue Miranda Almond said Barbara is “is absolutely exquisite, looking a cross between a young Brooke Shields and Natalia Vodianova.”

5. She dated Kristof Somfai:

Barbara’s previous boyfriend, Kristof Somfai, was very supportive of her career, as he attended many events with her, including the Cannes Film Festival when she represented L’Oréal last May.
