‘Vampire Diaries’ Pics: Damon & Elena Share A Romantic Dance

New pics from the show’s Nov. 29 episode reveal Elena & Damon getting very close — but is it just one of Elena’s hallucinations?

Hallucination or not, “Delena” fans are bound to squeal over this new picture from the Nov. 29 episode of The Vampire Diaries. In the shot, Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Elena (Nina Dobrev) share an intimate dance by the fireside, presumably in the Salvatore mansion. And while I’d love to think the couple is finally coming together, I have a sneaking suspicion this is just one of Elena’s pesky little visions.

Even if it is a “pesky little vision” let it be a HOT one at least ! :P I’m dying to see a steamy scene between these two. Stelena bedroom scenes sucked all the way…These two should light up the screen when they hook up !

The only reason I watched this show was for Damon. But I stopped watching a few episodes ago, a girl can only take so much teasing. Julie Plec is a raging Stelena fan and she disrespects the Delena fanbase everytime she “teases” that Delena might happen. Bottom line, she doesn’t want it, so she’s writing the show as a Stefan fan. She’s turned Elena in a whiny, annoying character that stomps all over Damon while putting Stefan on a pedestal. She’s ostracized Damon from every character on the show, and no matter what she does to turn the fans against Damon, we won’t! In the books Damon was very different, and his relationship with Elena was as well, and she loved him and didn’t treat him like crap, not to mention that in the books Bonnie was in love with Damon, and it wasn’t a St. Stefan series. I don’t know why Julie thinks she can just throw away everything that The Vampire Diaries was, and as much as I understand the difference between a tv show and a book series, there is also a huge difference between writing a tv show for an audience and treating it as your personal fanfic. I’m only watching the show when it gets back on track. This season has been a disappointment and just knowing that possible Delena scenes could be lame hallucinations makes my skin crawl. Why do we Delena fans have to hope and pray so hard and be mocked? I hope Kevin Williamson takes control of this show again and brings it back to how amazing it was in season one and two!

i have a stong feeling they will end up together soon.. because Stefan knows her better than that & he’s not a idiot. He’ll know something’s up. I just hope he spits in Elena’s face when it happens :P

Whats with the negativity guys? Okay yes v have been crushed before but do u honestly think Julie can keep SE together for long n keep toying with DE fans for ratings. This might have short term benefits but if Julie keeps it up, in the long run fans will stop watching not only causing the show to get cancelled but also ending the writers’ careers. Do u think they want that? They know DE has the largest fanbase n they build this angst so that when Elena n Damon end up together (which they will), fans will be surprised n over the moon. There r still 2 seasons n 19 episodes to go, things WILL get better. DE has been developed with so much care n caution, y would the writers invest so much time on DE if they love SE? Give Elena sometime to adjust to her new life n grow up n stop living in fear of being judged. Damon will have his love returned by Elena, DE will happen n once it does, it will stay till the end just u wait n see! If u really love Delena then u would never give up<3 And btw, i don't think its a hallucination. The lighting seems very realistic to me because in a hallucination, there r very sharp lights. Remember the pic of 3×18, also I don't think Julie is that heartless to release such a beautiful picture that isn't even a real scene, given DE fans' frustration n annoyance right now

Hi anam. You are very patient and optimistic. Julie loves to tease Delena fans by showing intimates scenes and pics of the two. But their love story is stuck. Julie does not want to end Stelena because she knew that once Damon and Elena admits love for each other and be together it would difficult to bring Stefan and Elena’s love story again unless they are willing to kill Damon in the story. Bringing Stefan and Elena together after she will have a beautiful relationship with Damon would cheapened Elena’s character and fans would hate her. Julie will not do that this early in Season 4. Her strategy is to keep Stelena’s relationship alive even if it is on the rocks. and in order to pacify the frustrated and annoyed Delena fans keep having intimate scenes between the two in every episode. I don’t know for how long would this kind of story line continue. Hopefully, Julie and other writers will change their tune and Delena’s relationship will finally happen sooner rather than later.

hallucination only. Julie Plec likes Stefan better than Damon and she keeps writing Elena’s character as a mindless gett who is afraid to chose Damon because her friends don’t particularly like him. She won’t let Elena go against her friends.

Delena fans be cautious. If your expectations is too high your disappointment would be too great. We have seen too many Delena moments that did not end up well for Damon. Julie Plec is through and through Stelena. I’m certain that she will not allow the pair to get separated. This is just one of those moments where Delena fans scream at start for excitement then at the end of the show scream again for frustration.

I will believe a REAL change when I see it. They have followed the same boring formula, teasing and games for over three years. Probably just another bone being released before an episode. Everyone is catching on.
Stefan, Stefan, Stefan, lets all feel and pity poor Stefan. The golden boy never held accountable for his actions and Elena will return to being a sap. Don’t be fooled.

Teasing, damage control, teasing, DE never will happen, it will be like the books. Julie Plec is right don´t watch this show because of DE. This show is not about a triangle, we are in fourth season we remain the same. They know that as long as we don´t have DE fans will keep watching the show, waiting for that possibility. Its Stefan and Elena story, sucks I know but it´s the reality. Yes we will have Elena kinda doubting but will come back to Stefan, since the beginning is showing of strong SE are, no matter that they lie each other, this show is for 12 years twilight fans.
