A friend of Katy’s tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Katy has never been happier. She’s in a really good place with John. They are planning on recording a song together at John’s new studio in Hollywood.”
“Katy’s parents also really like John. They prefer him over Russell. They thought Russell was too temperamental,” said the friend.

Is this a joke!? Katy would NOT date someone like John after what she went through with Russell. Recording a song? Perfectly possible. Being a couple? You’d have a better chance of seeing a human born with two noses! John is just as much of a scumbag as Russell, Katy deserves better than either of them. Also, Katy herself would publicly say through twitter or an interview or something if she was dating anyone, just saying.

My goodness, where have you been? John and Katy have been dating at least since the summer. They just haven’t announced it publicly.

Katy and John have been dating for awhile now. They aren’t gonna announce to the world they’re dating. It’s nobody’s business. With all the candids of them recently, we ALL know they’re a couple.
