Poor Ariel. A judge has determined that it is NOT safe for the young ‘Modern Family’ actress to live with her mother, who has been alledgedly abusing her both physically and emotionally.
Ariel Winter is now living with her older sister Shanelle Workman who was also abused by her mother, Crystal Workman, when she was younger and was placed in a foster home. How sad.
TMZ is reporting that after a guardianship hearing on Oct.3, a judge placed Ariel, 14, in a temporary guardianship with her older sister Shanelle becasue the abuse was so serious. Apparently, her mother Crystal has been ordered to stay 100 yards away from Ariel.
Nearly two decades ago, the Department of Children and Family Services removed Ariels’ older sister from Crystal’s home based on similar abuse allegations. Shanelle was placed in foster care for more than 2 years. She never went back to her mother.
Another hearing is set for for November 20.

I think that It’s super sad. With having the same experience that she had of being placed into foster care. It’s hard but than you remember that your not the only one with family issues. I just wanted to say that I am so sorry for Ariel. Good luck to her.
