President Barack Obama Is Elected To Second Term

Tue, November 6, 2012 11:47pm EDT by 13 Comments

President Obama has been elected to a second term as President of the United States after key wins in battleground states! Read on for details.

After a tense and hard fought campaign against Republican candidate Mitt Romney, President Barack Obama is projected to win re-election in the 2012 presidential election, NBC News reports!

His path to victory was made clear when he was called the projected winner of key battleground states Ohio, Wisconsin, and Pennsylvania. These three states pushed the president over the needed 270 electoral votes!

Obama was declared, by NBC News, the projected winner of Ohio and the election after polls had closed on the West Coast. The president’s victory was due, in part, to his holding on to a series of Democratic strongholds, defeating Mitt’s efforts to take back states he had won in 2008 and make inroads into traditionally Democratic strongholds, like Pennsylvania, Minnesota and Wisconsin.

After the race was called, President Obama e-mailed supporters to thank them for their hard work and support: “I’m about to go speak to the crowd here in Chicago, but I wanted to thank you first. I want you to know that this wasn’t fate, and it wasn’t an accident. You made this happen. You organized yourselves block by block…And when it wasn’t easy, you pressed forward. I will spend the rest of my presidency honoring your support, and doing what I can to finish what we started. But I want you to take real pride, as I do, in how we got the chance in the first place. Today is the clearest proof yet that, against the odds, ordinary Americans can overcome powerful interests. There’s a lot more work to do. But for right now: Thank you.”

Congratulations, President Obama!

Obama is only amazing if you are on welfare… If you work like I do, try to afford gas to get back and forth. So now I will quit and wait for my HANDOUTS like all the lazy BLACKS AND BROWNS that voted for him because he is the Messiah. I am enlightened now.

Those of you who voted for Obama are so deceived by his lies. He will do nothing but bring this country down, Just like he’s been doing the past 4 years. We won’t have a free country by the time he is done with it. All he will do is allow the Muslims to come over here and take over this country. They have him on record telling the Russian President “Just wait until I get re-elected. I can’t do anything now, so just wait until I get re-elected.” I can’t believe you people would chose someone like that to run our country. And for those of you who voted for him, MARK MY WORDS, he will ruin this country, and you will regret voting for him by the time it’s all over. Those of you who voted for him are so ignorant. And by the time Obama’s done with this country, it will no longer be a free country. Just wait and see.

Even though I’m Canadian I’m so glad to see that Obama won! he is so real and honest. He is bringing good change for America. I\m so happy that pretentious prick of a morman didn’t win, America would have been a scary place when he started changing laws and pushing his religion onto all Americans. Yeah obama!
