Kristen reveals how she manages to stay sane amidst all the media scrutiny over her personal life in a new interview! Read on for all the details.
If there’s anyone who understand the pressures of being a superstar and dealing with the press, it’s Kristen Stewart. After the Twilight films turned the young actress into a global superstar, her personal and romantic life has been victim to hordes of prying eyes, especially after it was revealed she’d cheated on Robert Pattinson with Rupert Sanders. In a new interview, Kristen explains that, when it comes to fame and the media, laughter can be the best medicine.
During the press junket for the Nov. 16 release of Breaking Dawn: Part 2, Kristen, 22, sat down with Fox 5 in Las Vegas, where she revealed that laughing at yourself can be the best way to keep from going crazy. “Um, yeah, I mean, if you can’t laugh at yourself, there’s definitely a problem,” the actress said.
“Best not to even approach that aspect. Just think about actually who you are, rather than, you know…” she added, before trailing off. The interviewer helped complete her sentence, saying, “…what’s projected on you.” Kristen confirmed, “Yeah, exactly.”
We’re glad that Kristen is able to laugh off the intensity and the negativity that often comes her way!
Do you think it’s great that Kristen’s able to laugh at herself, HollywoodLifers?

I agree, it’s important to laugh at yourself. Let us help you with that Stewart. What you did back in July was the single biggest display of careless self-centered stupidity I’ve ever seen in my life. Very funny stuff. Be sure and share the joke with Pattinson, because it’s on him too.
