Ben Savage & Danielle Fishel know the fans want to see them reprise their iconic roles. Find out what they’re saying about ‘Girl Meets World!’
If fan reaction counts for anything, I think it’s safe to say Girls Meets World will be happening very soon. Immediately after news broke Nov. 2 that Disney Channel is planning a Boy Meets World sequel series, the internet exploded with emotions — and Ben Savage and Danielle Fishel, aka Cory and Topanga, heard them loud and clear.
“Just want you guys to know that @BenSavage and I have talked and we’ve decided…Thanksgiving is going to be delicious this year!” Danielle tweeted Nov. 3.
Ben hasn’t tweeted anything about Girl Meets World since the news broke, but he and Brooklyn Decker had a little back-in-forth in October that may have foreshadowed the announcement:
“You never know, Brooklyn,” Ben tweeted Oct. 12, replying to the swimsuit model-turned-actress’ inquiry about a Boy Meets World reunion.
(It has since been announced that the cast will reunite this June at the ATX Film Festival.)
So what do you think now, HollywoodLifers? Would you like to see Cory and Topanga live again on Disney Channel, or is it best to leave a good thing alone? Cast your vote below, then drop a comment with more of your thoughts.

you can’t compete with the original. I feel like a spinoff is cheapening it. It was a Great show. Play the reruns don’t reenact it with a girl. A two hour reunion special would have been a better idea. I just feel like they’re gonna mess it up somehow and it’s gonna be a flop. Don’t mess with a good thing. Leave well enough alone.
