Chris Brown- good for you. Hollywoodlife.com has learned you’ll be revealing a major number of grants to support programs for the arts and to educate teens about dating domestic violence as part of the official launch of your Symphonic Love Foundation on Nov. 5 — that’s great!
Chris Brown – it’s so admirable that you have learned from your past issues and struggles and are transforming your experiences into positive good to help other children and teens. On Monday, you’ll be announcing the official launch of your Symphonic Love Foundation whose mission it is to support and create arts programs for young people. We hear that you’ve actually been working on this for three years and have already been giving grants to community organizations which provide arts programs to children in low income areas.
Boy, that’s something that these children really need, with so many schools cutting arts programs due to budget cuts. “Chris wanted to focus on supporting arts programs because art has been such an integral part of his life. It’s been a way for him to express who he is ever since he was a young child,” explains a source who is close to the situation. “He’s been quietly painting for years and sees it as a positive outlet for low income children.”

Chris’s website for the foundation also launches Monday, and there will be information and tools there to inspire young people to be more creative and share their artwork with the world, explains the source.
Chris feels just as strongly about supporting programs which educate teens about dating violence- he certainly knows how important that is – and there will be grants for HIV/AIDS programs as well.
“Chris has been extremely generous with both his finances and time with his foundation. He really wanted to find an effective way to help children and teens. And honestly, I have to say Chris is one of the most caring and genuine people I’ve ever worked with on a philanthropic cause,” says a source who’s been involved with the situation. “This will be one of the most active foundations established by anyone in his generation. He will be actively engaging with young people and his fans with it.”
