Alana ‘Honey Boo Boo’ Thompson and her wild family have been enjoying their time in the spotlight thanks to their TLC show ‘Here Comes Honey Boo Boo’ — but the 7-year-old is reportedly ready to call it quits!
The highly-rated reality show Here Comes Honey Boo Boo shot Alana “Honey Boo Boo” Thompson and her family to fame, but it seems the little girl, who turned 7 in August, is ready to pull the plug on the hit TLC show for good.
During her whirlwind press tour in Los Angeles, Alana could hardly behave — she threw a toy dolls and pillows on the set of Access Hollywood, and even host Billy Bush noticed her misbehavior. “This kid needs discipline in a major way,” he told the Today show.
But it was her appearance on Dr. Drew‘s HLN show that drew a major red flag. She avoided his questions, pretended to fall asleep, and only answered when coaxed by her mom Mama June Shannon.
Honey Boo Boo Hates Being On TV
“Do you like being on TV?” Dr. Drew asked. “No! Fans come up to me and I hate it,” she responded. Even though her mom insisted later on Facebook the little girl was “joking,” she clearly seemed overwhelmed and exhausted.
She had been on five media appearances in Los Angeles in two days, with little time to just be a regular 7-year-old kid. But even when she goes back home, nothing is normal anymore — the family is constantly filming for their TV show, and she is escorted by a bodyguard 24/7.
“June has always had a reputation for exploiting celebrity,” a source in the family’s town told InTouch magazine. “Now it’s worse than ever.”

all of yall sit here and talk about the innocent family… i bet non matter how boring or gross yalls family is if yall were giving a chance to be on tv yall would jump on it… stop talking abut ppl you barely know.. you only know the parts of them that are showed n tlc.. jealous much!!!!
