At this point, I feel like watching Damon (Ian Somerhalder) and Stefan (Paul Wesley) fight over Elena (Nina Dobrev) has become a national pastime — like watching baseball, or browsing hilarious cat videos when you’re supposed to be working. But the Salvatores actually manage to call a truce on the Nov. 1 episode of The Vampire Diaries as they team up to uncover the truth about “The Five.”

That being said, Stefan does admit he’s “always going to be mad” at Damon for letting Elena feed on him. So are they really kissing and making up? Watch this new clip from Thursday’s episode and find out:

@Jenna I think it’s a little funny that you are complaining about all these fans who are upset and not going to watch. The ratings are actually up from last year, TVD and Arrow are the two most popular shows, no real danger to this ending.

Jenna is right, this season seems to be the Damon show and it is getting a bit irratating. I like his character in small doses, but it is getting way over the top. The love triangle is played out and is just annoying and can someone please explain to me how Elena is any different than Kathryn at this point. I would love for Stefan to dump her and find someone else so she can feel what it is like. Somehow this show has made being the good guy a bad thing and that is so wrong on so many levels. Thank God in the books Elena finally grew up, picked a brother and admitted to Stefan that she treated him like shit. Funny thing is I am not a Stefan or Damon girl but I get tired if the hero worship of Damon, he has done some awful things to Elena, her friends and family but he is hot so that is okay??

You are so right! The show has made being a good guy be a bad thing. Stefan deserves much more better. He should definitely dumb Elena already! And enough play on the love triangle(yawn!)

Another episode about Damon and the Delena Diaries. Come on there are other fans who watch this show that are feeling really ripped off you know. Here’s hoping fans want a season 5

Ha Ha. DE had 2 recent good episodes and there was not alot of scenes there really, more SE. But that’s ok, because Damon never really had a storyline last season other than Elena’s keeper. It was all about Stefan. A lot of fans are enjoying the increase in Damon. There would be no season 5 if they continued down the route you want…..Stelena all mushy, mushy, epic, always gonna be Stefan blah, blah for six seasons.

Can’t wait for the ratings to come out Friday. Proof in ratings. I actually would like Paul to leave TVD’s when his contract is up. Because the way the writers favor Ian it’s just embarrassing and disrespectful to other actors on this show. Paul is a great actor, unfortunately they are making his character so ridiculous to watch.

Lets see, they’ve had Stefan save a Matt and let Elena die, ride a motorcycle with the worst fake background. Damon (Ian) gets the best fight scenes, hot scenes with Elena who is suppose to be Stefan’s girlfriend, gets to save the day, be the hero, and so much more. Even Caroline she was incredible. Now they’ve just got her having sex. I could go on but the shows writer’s are ruining this show. This is now the Damon show. Like I said the radings will show how fans feel. Delena’s may think they are the biggest fanbase but they are not. The polls there always ranting have at the most 100 people voting. Viewers are/were about 2 million, unless they contact all those viewers. You can’t say Delena’s are the most.

Damon is not the only one they feature. I am getting sick of pissy Stefan fans complaining, when the first half of season 3 , Damon was lucky to have a major storyline because it was all about ripper stefan.

The ratings are out and Thursday was the highest rating ever, over 3 million, despite sandy and a lot of people not able to watch. The ratings where so high because all week there was Damon and Damon and Elena Promos everywhere on fb page and YouTube and cw. and Delena Hype by the director.So many Damon and Delena Fans where upset before the show that they could not watch it or it would have been even higher. Delena forever!
