Green Day may have had to cancel the rest of their 2012 tour dates, but now we can see the long awaited music video of their song ‘Forgotten’ which features footage from ‘Breaking Dawn: Part 2′!
“Forgotten” is the first music video from the Breaking Dawn: Part 2 soundtrack, and marks the first time Green Day has contributed to a Twilight soundtrack.
According to MTV News, Green Day was thrilled when asked to be part of the soundtrack.
“When we were asked to be part of the Twilight Breaking Dawn: Part 2 soundtrack, we readily agreed because the films are an insane cultural phenomenon,” bassist Mike Dirnt told Yahoo! “We have always been impressed with the way the ‘Twilight’ soundtracks are so carefully curated.”
The BD2 soundtrack also includes Passion Pit, Ellie Goulding , Nikki Reed and her husband Paul McDonald St. Vincent, Iko and Christina Perri.
‘Breaking Dawn Part 2′ Music Video — Rob & Kristen In ‘Speak Up’
The album will be released will be available three days before the film’s release, on Tuesday, November 13.
