The bob is back — just ask Leighton Meester! The star debuted an adorable and much shorter new ‘do at a dinner party in Hollywood on Oct. 25. Check out Leighton’s hot new look!

We all know we have to say goodbye to Blair on Gossip Girl, but now we have to say goodbye to Blair’s hair, too!

Leighton Meester‘s gorgeous, long brown locks that we’ve come to love are no more. The 26-year-old showed off her short bob at the Flaunt Magazine dinner party on Oct. 25 in West Hollywood, California.

Leighton told JustJared.com that she decided to cut her hair after Gossip Girl filming ended.

“My long, wavy hair got a lot of mileage, so it was time for a change,” she said.

Leighton kept her short bob young and fun by adding a little wave to the ‘do. Even though we loved Leighton’s long locks, we’re really digging the cropped chop.
