‘The Vampire Diaries,’ its fans and the show’s three stars — Nina Dobrev, Ian Somerhalder and Paul Wesley — are all potential nominees.

Every so often, we the people are called to unite and cast our votes for what we believe in and stand for. I’m talking, of course, about the 2013 People’s Choice Awards, which is now accepting votes for nominees as of Oct. 23. The Vampire Diaries itself is a potential Favorite Sci-Fi/Fantasy TV Show nominee, while the “TVD Family” — which the PCAs originally  to as “Damonators,” “Elenators” and “Stefanators” — could be up for Favorite TV Fan Following.

Ian Somerhalder, Nina Dobrev and Paul Wesley are up for individual awards as well, and I’m sure once the fans start casting their votes, other cast members will join their ranks — specifically Joseph Morgan, Candice Accola and Michael Trevino.

Nina thanked fans for their support, via Twitter, and urged them to vote: “Come on ‘Damonators’, ‘Elenators’, ‘Stefanators’, DO YOUR THING! Thanks for the constant support, and loveeee. We love and appreciate you more than you know!”
