One of the series’ biggest mysteries could be unravelling very soon!

The masterminds behind Once Upon A Time promised we’d learn the identity of Henry’s (Jared Gilmore) father this season — and it looks like they might already be making good on that promise! A new batch of pics from the Nov. 4 episode, titled “Tallahassee,” reveals a flashback to Emma’s (Jennifer Morrison) life before Storybrooke, in which she’s spotted with a very familiar face.

Michael Raymond-James, who we first saw receiving the “broken” note on the season premiere, is riding shotgun with Emma in the new photos, leading many fans to speculate that he was once Emma’s lover — and potentially Henry’s biological father.

Spoilers also reveal that an out-of-towner will enter Storybrooke very soon, and given these new pictures, I’m thinking Michael’s character is certainly a contendor.

That is a fantastic picture of Jennifer Morrison. I don’t recall a time when she looked more beautiful on the show. I really think the age differences make things confusing, but at least Henry has normal aged parents, even if his grandparents are the same age as they are; Emma has a more awkward situation. This recent episode “Crocodile” was very good though and I didn’t miss it this time either because of my kids messing with my timers. My PrimeTime Anytime setting records my primetime shows at night now automatically, so when my DISH coworker comes over, I’m not embarrassed by not having any recordings.

He must be Henry’s father but I think the twist will be that he is also Rumple’s long lost son!

That seems to be the popular theory these days…
