Brett’s character, Henry, will arrive at Denver Memorial Hospital for a lung transplant, HollywoodLife.com has learned.

For those suffering from L.A. Complex withdrawal, myself included, it looks like Emily Owens, M.D., might have a cure! HollywoodLife.com has learned that Brett Dier — who appeared on the second season of The L.A. Complex as Abby’s Saying Grace co-star — will play Henry, a cystic fibrosis patient in need of a lung transplant, on an upcoming episode of The CW’s freshman medical drama.

Brett first announced his role on Twitter. “Off to do a makeup test for my role in Emily Owens M.D.” he tweeted Oct. 23.

New episodes of Emily Owens, M.D., air Tuesdays at 9 p.m. on The CW.
