The community of Clayton, NJ, has been rocked after two teen brothers are arrested for the murder of the 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale, who was killed in an effort to steal her bicycle. So tragic.
On October 23rd, two teenage brothers, ages 15 and 17, were arrested in Clayton, New Jersey for the murder of Autumn Pasquale. The young girl had last been seen on October 20th riding her bicycle, and was reported missing later that day. Sadly, her body was later found on the night of October 22 in a recycling bin in Borough Hall.
Autumn Pasquale’s Killers Charged
The suspected killers have been charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, theft, tampering with evidence, and disposing of a body. It is believed they lured Autumn into their home with the promise of new bicycle parts, but their intentions were to steal her BMX bike. The police believe she was killed by strangulation.
On October 21, hundreds of people gathered in Clayton to hold a candlelight vigil while volunteers searched for Autumn; but sadly, her body was found the next day. It was the mother of the two suspected murderers who alerted the police, after seeing something suspicious on one of their Facebook pages.
Such a tragic loss. Our thoughts are with Autumn’s family and friends.
