The community of Clayton, NJ, has been rocked after two teen brothers are arrested for the murder of the 12-year-old Autumn Pasquale, who was killed in an effort to steal her bicycle. So tragic.

On October 23rd, two teenage brothers, ages 15 and 17, were arrested in Clayton, New Jersey for the murder of Autumn Pasquale. The young girl had last been seen on October 20th riding her bicycle, and was reported missing later that day. Sadly, her body was later found on the night of October 22 in a recycling bin in Borough Hall.

Autumn Pasquale’s Killers Charged

The suspected killers have been charged with first degree murder, conspiracy to commit murder, theft, tampering with evidence, and disposing of a body. It is believed they lured Autumn into their home with the promise of new bicycle parts, but their intentions were to steal her BMX bike. The police believe she was killed by strangulation.

On October 21, hundreds of people gathered in Clayton to hold a candlelight vigil while volunteers searched for Autumn; but sadly, her body was found the next day. It was the mother of the two suspected murderers who alerted the police, after seeing something suspicious on one of their Facebook pages.

Such a tragic loss. Our thoughts are with Autumn’s family and friends.

I have to say bravo to their mom for reporting what she saw on FB. Sometimes parents, and we have seen many in the new, try to hide their children so they do not have to pay for the evil they have done. Condolences not only to Autumn’s family but to the parents and family of the boys who did this.

I am a former resident of Clayton. I wouldn’t give Mrs. Robinson too much credit here. Much happened, people saw things, spoke to these murderers face to face before she turned her kids in. What sort of childhood, which IS her resonsibility, btw…what childhood did these kids have? Where was she in raising 2 kids that planned and executed a murder??? First degree murder means it was NOT an accident, but a thought out, planned killing. I do agree that at LEAST she turned them in, and that was the RIGHT thing to do..but does that deserve a “bravo”????? Just my opinion on that. I know residents who know her and her parenting skills or lack thereof. I say Bravo to Autumn’s friends and family who went out searching for her without Police help. In the very beginning when she was missing for only 7 or 8 hours. They searched in the dark, with flashlights and fear for the worst. Her mom, her dad, and friends including my family.

I really appreciate that Hollywoodlife has reported on this tragic event to bring awareness to a greater community…I am from Southern New Jersey and this is literally too close to home. But thank goodness Clayton Police Department and many volunteers for their efforts to bring justice and piece of mind to her family. Thank you!
