Seven people were allegedly shot by Radcliffe Haughton on Sunday Oct. 21 in Wisconsin — three are dead and four are in non-critical condition.
Radcliffe Haughton opened fire near a suburban Milwaukee mall on Sunday Oct. 21 at Azana Salon and Spa. The 45-year-old man allegedly “gunned down his wife” before shooting 6 others and killing himself.
Radcliffe’s target was his estranged wife, who was given a court order of protection against her ex three days before the shooting.
Radcliffe would have had to give up all of his guns when his ex-wife’s restraining order made it through the legal system.
His wife Zina Haughton and two other women were allegedly killed when Radcliffe opened fire at the spa in Brookfield, Wisconsin.
Police have not released the names of the victims in the Oct. 21 shooting, but WTMJ-TV in Milwaukee quotes an anonymous source as saying Zina was murdered in the attack.
The restraining order against Radcliffe was filed after an Oct. 4 incident at the salon when Radcliffe allegedly slashed his wife’s tires.
Brookfield Police Chief Daniel Tushaus said at an evening news conference, “It appears that he is deceased of a self-inflicted gunshot wound. There is no other suspect that we are seeking.”
Our thoughts are with the victims, along with their family and friends at this time.
