Justin may be staying away from music in his professional life lately, but he didn’t hold back for his new bride. Justin sang a newly-written song to Jessica as she walked down the aisle! Read on for all the details.
Justin Timberlake has been focusing heavily on his acting career, putting his music career behind him for the time being; but it appears that he couldn’t resist getting a little musical for his wedding to Jessica Biel, held on Friday, Oct. 19, in Italy!
As Jessica, 30, walked down the aisle, Justin, 31, performed an original song he wrote just for Jessica. “That definitely started the tears,” Jessica told People. “Not just for me either. For pretty much everyone who was there.”
“I figured if there was something I was going to be able to offer, it would be to sing her down the aisle. Grown men were weeping. Hopefully it’s because I didn’t sound bad,” Justin joked.
Us Weekly reports that the reception, which was deejayed by The Roots’ drummer ?uestlove, included a lot of Justin’s music! “?uestlove played a bunch of Justin Timberlake songs, but no *NSYNC,” a source tells the magazine.
People reports that the music ranged from “retro ’60s classics to hip-hop hits.”
Could this wedding song be a clue that Justin is working on music again? Or was it just an incredibly sweet wedding gift for Jessica? What do you think, HollywoodLifers?
