At least 7 people were tragically shot by an unknown gunman on Sunday Oct. 21 in Wisconsin — how sad.

A gunman (now identified as Radcliffe Haughton) opened fire near a suburban Milwaukee mall on Sunday Oct. 21, injuring at least 7 people at Azana Salon and Spa.

Armed officers are currently surrounding the spa and the area is not secure. Officials are describing the event as a “mass casualty” situation, ABC News reports.

The shootings took place around 12 P.M. ET and the shooter remains at large.

Christopher Pfeiffer, 47, told the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel that he saw a young girl hysterically running through the parking lot at Brookfield Square Mall (across the street from the spa).

“She was screaming, yelling, crying hysterical. She was pleading for help,” Christopher said. “She kept saying, ‘My mother was shot.’ And she mentioned that there was a gunman. She ran into the bookstore.”

Our thoughts are with the victims, along with their family and friends at this time.
