The residents of Rosewood give HollywoodLife.com tips for dealing with life’s biggest pests.

Oct. 19 is officially Spirit Day, a GLAAD-organized event where the world takes a united stand against bullying — and since there’s no bigger bully on TV than “A,” HollywoodLife.com asked the cast of Pretty Little Liars to give us their anti-bullying tips.

Here’s what the stars told us when we caught up with them Oct. 17 at the premiere of the show’s Halloween special in Hollywood:

Janel Parrish (Mona): ”Believe in yourself. That’s the only thing you can do. You can’t fight it, and you can’t let it get you down. If you believe in yourself, everyone will. No one can take that power away from you.”

Brant Daugherty (Noel): ”Don’t be quiet about it. Speak up!”

Lindsey Shaw (Paige): ”Love, love, love yourself. Know that you are loved and that this will pass. This is an opportunity to fortify your own strength. You can’t be torn down if you don’t let them. And find a support team to vent to.”

Tammin Sursok (Jenna): “I always say, ‘Never spend a second thinking about people you don’t like.’ … The only thing that matters is what you think about yourself, because that’s the only thing you can change.”

Keegan Allen (Toby): ”Always tell someone. Don’t keep it in, and don’t ever think it’s just happening to you.”

Chad Lowe (Byron): “It’s so hard to be that age and face the challenges that kids face. But it gets better. That’s the mantra. You have to go through it, as we all have, but once you get through it, you understand.”

Drop us a comment with your tips for handling life’s bullies, then head over to GLAAD’s official Spirit Day site for more information on how you can support the cause.
