So cute! Liam is such a gentleman — he asked Billy Ray for permission before proposing to Miley!
Liam Hemsworth has traditional values. He had a number of conversations with Billy Ray Cyrus before popping the question to Miley Cyrus! The “Achy Breaky Heart” singer thinks Liam is “great” for doing that.
“Liam [Hemsworth]‘s a great guy. I like Liam a lot. The main thing for me is that both of them are happy. Miley’s worked really hard, and I’m enjoying right now seeing her so happy. She and I always had a mantra, and the mantra was: if you ain’t happy, it ain’t working. As long as [Miley's] happy right now, life is good!” Billy Ray tells ET Canada.
And don’t think Liam asked Miley to marry him without getting permission from Billy Ray. “We talked about it a couple of times,” Billy Ray added.
It’s so cute that Liam went the traditional route and asked for permission before proposing — he’s such a gentleman!
