Kristen Stewart is known for being fidgety during interviews, however Body Language Expert Patti Wood says Kristen’s recent Q & A with Balenciaga reveals someone who is very nervous and insecure.
World-renowned body language expert Patti Wood, who recently released her new book SNAP – Making the Most of First Impressions, Body Language and Charisma, tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively, “Kristen’s behavior during the interview indicates that she didn’t feel like she was doing a very good job. She was self-comforting throughout the entire Q & A.”
“Several times Kristen put her index finger up to her bottom lip where there are tons of sensitive nerve endings. This gesture would stimulate endorphins, thus making her feel more at ease. She also touches her chin, almost rubbing it showing that she feels very uneasy and unsure of herself,” said Patti.
“Kristen also feels the need to protect herself which is why she brushes the outside arm with her inside arm. This shows she wants to protect herself from the camera, the public. At one point, Kristen twists her head and brings her chin down and then sucks in her lips, again indicating that she is very uncomfortable, typically a shame gesture. She also touches her ear, another indication that she feesl like she isn’t doing a very good job.”
“The rocking and running like motion of her foot is symbolic of running away from the interview. And the clicking sound she often makes when she finishes a sentence is a combination of disapproval and comforting herself.”
“Kristen is trying really hard but feels like she is coming up short. If she had to grade herself on how well she did during the interview, she would have most likely given herself a ‘D’.”
“Overall, it makes sense that Kristen would feel uptight and insecure because this is one of the first times she is talking in public since the whole cheating scandal on Robert Pattinson. She’s probably feeling judged and perhaps even thinking about Rob at times during the interview and wondering what her fans are thinking about the whole situation.”
“For future interviews, I would advise Kristen to feel more comfortable and she can achieve this in different ways. I would suggest she wear clothing that is LESS revealing. I would suggest that she cover up her upper arms and lower legs a bit more so she doesn’t feel so exposed. I would have her do some positive self-talk prior any interviews. It’s also important for her to connect with the interviewer. She can do this by shaking hands or doing a kiss on both cheeks– something to show they are connected. This will help Kristen’s fans feel like they too are connected with her.”

Kristen Stewart perfect answers. The interview was alright for me. I love her as an actress. I love her photo shoots and her photos. It looks absolutely perfect for me. Those long legs, simply stunning.

Well, finally! I thought that they are completely incapable American papzz! It was queer to me That Kate Middleton can be photographed in the privacy of an estate, but Kristen and Pattinson manage to elude the paparazzi? With the new house all over the internet?

Kristen always did fidget, only now it’s worse. She is probably worried about what her fans think about her. She knows she screwed up and now she has to figure out how to get her fans to trust her again. It will come in time. Rob is the only one she has to worry about and how he feels .

I wonder what her parents are like? as i would think having a close relationship with them would help her with all the pressures I would hope she wouldn’t worry about what everyone thinks about her.Her private life is nobodies business and that is that.As a actress and her career very different people are interested,Movies,Fans it is her time to shine bright and she is,bringing so much joy for all. Shame on all who judge her in any way,Our lord said you without sin cast the first stone.
Kristen is always a nervous wreck with interviews, Honey Boo Boo could have asked better questions then this French interviewer, she was just terrible, she rushed Kristen with every question, half of the questions did not make any sense, I would have had a difficult time also answering some of these really dumb questions. The interviewer should have introduced Kristen and made her feel more comfortable, it was just rush, rush. Even Kristen was trying to get the interviewer to ask some more questions, that’s when she started to talk about the designer.
But I have to say Kristen looked really hot, hair, makeup, clothes, shoes and those long legs,
really nice.
And for those that are doubting Rob and her getting back together, just check out the latest pictures of Kristen and Rob at Kristen’s new house, even the dogs were there. If it was fake Rob would never hug and kiss her and be laughing, she’s even wearing his under pants, now that’s love!!

Kristen did fine Yes she was her usual jittery but I like her that way because she is not scripted Every thought is natural and formed right there They had 5000 questions from fans but the interviewer asked almost the same Kristen elaborated and try to keep it going but the interviewer did not seem prepared to keep it going Though Kriste could have pushed the interviewer by asking so whats the next question she didnt push. Kriste look beautiful and fresh.

Do you blame her for being nervous with the way you all and Rob’s fans have torn her apart in the public eye. Who wouldn’t have self estem problems after being torched, quartered and flayed by the media and the public. I think she was brave to even attempt to do this live interview and she did a good job considering how people have stripped her of the confidence she used to have. Lay off of her HWL.

She always come off as not caring what others think about her so what makes this interview any different. I think with those old interviews she was in denial about her acting abilities and she realizes the truth now. She famous for being famous but not for her acting skill. She is a celebrity not an actress. It’s a good thing she is kinda of pretty because she would not be getting so many movies roles. She is highly overrated She is nothing more than a continuous source of amusement to some people because her acting skills are one dimensional and she only does roles that require her to nothing which exactly what she does. It must be hard for her to pretend to be actor.

No one knows if Rob and Kristen were ever apart. Does anyone have an inside line into their lives. Please people leave them alone to work out their relationship. I think they have alot of love between them, I wish them well.

Kristen was much more comfortable in interviews Sept 6-8 in Toronto when the event was still relatively fresh (although she was clearly indicating then that she was back with Rob). This interviewer did nothing worthwhile beyond reading straight from her iPad. She was unprepared and knew nothing. I think that this was a bigger issue than any “guilt”.

Back together just in time for the new movie to come out. Funny thing is I was talking about this with some friends that work in the entertainment industry and told them to watch, you will get chatter that they have been seen together in “meetings”. Than you will get a “fan” that sees them together and than, about a month before the movie comes out, a picture will be taken conviently when they are out with a group of people in a public place. Yep good job Summit! Perfect PR relationship that will end when the final Twilight movie is out in theaters (it may stay together long enough for the DVD release of course…gotta make that money off delusional twi-hards and robsten fanatics)
