Lea Michele dared to wear a lace body suit with nothing but a Zimmermann sheer striped dress over it when she attended the 19th annual Elle Women in Hollywood event on Oct. 15. Vertical stripes helped hide small fractions of skin, but ultimately kept the look super sexy — she left very little to the imagination on the red carpet! This dress complimented her showy, diva-like personality — but it definitely wasn’t a safe choice!

Sure, sheer is a huge trend this season — and Lea knows how to show it off! Paired with a classic, black strappy heel, the star simmered down this hot look by leaving her accessories at the door. With dark smokey eyes and pale nude lips, she tastefully finished off the ensemble. Like a true red carpet pro, Lea made it a point to give a few full spins to show off the racy back of this look.
